DELO-FLEXCAP is a hermetically tight cartridge with a flexible foil integrated into it. The membrane formed replaces the piston of conventional small cartridges. It autonomously equalizes pressure differences during air transport and material shrinkage even during extreme cool storage, and does not let air of contaminants penetrate the vessel. Thus, the adhesives filled in it remain bubble-free until and after application. This improves production quality and increases reliability in production. At the same time, maximum emptying of the cartridge is efficiently ensured, even if high-viscous products are used. The reason for this is that the flexible membrane ensures an even and constant volume when dispensed. This in turn, leads to increased output.
The cartridge enables customers to reorganize the dispatch of their products from immoderate tempering to cooling by dry ice. This offers the potential for enormous cost savings in the logistic process. The cartridge is suitable for all one-component adhesives, such as photoinitiated-curing DELO-PHOTOBOND and DELO-KATIOBOND adhesives, heat-curing DELOMONOPOX materials, and DELO-DUALBOND products with several curing mechanisms. DELO-FLEXCAP is available as 10 ml cartridge. The conversion of an existing production process from small cartridges is easy to manage. The integration into the customer’s systems is smooth.
DELO-FLEXCAP is ideal for automated production processes using compressed air. The adhesive is dispensed through a dispensing needle, or alternatively by means of a dispensing valve. In order to ensure smooth processes, DELO only supplies own adhesives in DELO-FLEXCAP.
